Howard L. Good, 98, of Lititz, passed away on September 18, 2014 at United Zion Retirement Community. Born in Warwick Township, he was the son of the late Samuel and Lilian Loose Good. He was married for 75 years to the late Hilda Keenen Good, who passed away in 2013.
Howard was an active member of Lititz United Methodist Church and past member of the choir. A World War II veteran, he served in the 78th infantry in the U.S. Army. He worked at the Armstrong flooring plant until his retirement in 1981.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife and until recent years he stayed active by cycling and swimming laps at the Lititz Rec Center.
He is survived by his son, Howard L., husband of Susan, Westfield, NJ; daughter, Carole, wife of Richard Dunkle, East Petersburg; grandchildren, Ken Good, Plano, TX; David Good, Short Hills, NJ; Kate Dunkle, Lancaster; Krissy Feleppa, East Hampton, NY; great grandchildren, Nigel, Marcus, Lara, Abigael, and Alana Good; Janaya and Keira Marshall; Fay Feleppa; and his sister Naomi Effa, Phoenix, AZ. He is preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the Richard H. Heisey Funeral Home, 216 S. Broad St., Lititz, on Tuesday, September 23rd at 2:00 p.m., with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
